"the first time at the compassess and it was a very pleasant experience. we had our pre-booked reservation for 17:45 and it was pretty busy, obviously a good thing, as something must be nice right. eating was amazing, we had the vegetarian night outside, portions were massive, so hungry to eat. service was also great, we were very well looked after. defo would come back and recommend."

Came in this afternoon for a roast. Sat in the outdoor area as the bar was full today and we had our dog. It was warm enough with the heaters and was covered with a shelter. Roast was banging Best pub roast I've had anywhere in ages

roadtrip from southwest to watford. I stopped for a frying dinner here, nothing booked. bark meat was a bit overdue, but I think that was because it was the last of it. everything else was delicious and good. personal was very friendly Ver carta

If you are looking for a traditional Sunday lunch after a day at the Harry Potter studio, then check this pub out for a relaxing dinner and drinks. The Sunday roast is on point and to die for,with friendly service and easy parking out front and in the back car park.

on Thursday evening I served a meal with my partner here. I had the hunters huh and she had the mushroom risotto with a few pages. eating was very tasty and good value for money. the staff were all very helpful and friendly, and we would definitely come back when we are in the opposite.
