"First visit for a Sunday roast although they seemed to have lots on the menu it isn't just roasts... Overall very pleased it is a lovely place, uncomplicated good food... The service was quick and the staff very friendly despite being extremely busy.... We booked a table over the phone and turned up half an hour later. There were a number of larger family groups, it seemed that they could accommodate larger groups, there was plenty of room .. In my opinion good value for money.... It has a carpark too and if it's busy the streets surrounding it seem to be able to accommodate the odd extra car so you shouldn't have a problem.... Dogs were in the pub it simply said well behaved dogs on leads welcome..."

We came here for a Funeral Wake on April 26th 2024, but we were in the Function room next door to the pub. It was a very nice room and the Bar Staff were great. Everything went to plan. We did sit in the pub itself and it looked nice inside.

Been several times now, great food, beer and service. Keep up the good work. : Update: we've been a loyal customer for years now, however the recent price increases cannot justify a visit anymore. Appreciate times our tough for customers and businesses but the prices are now unaffordable unless for the rare occasion.

As part of a large party of around 15 people, I want to say how lovely I find your restaurant. Been many a time and would always give it top marks but today I had the Calcutta beef curry you were offering from the specials menu. For the fair price of £15, a huge portion of beef curry, rice, popodum, and naan, it was simply out of this world. Please do quote me here but it was genuinely the nicest beef curry I have ever had and I have been to many authentic Indian restaurants. This topped all of those by miles. Huge shout-out to the chef who made this. Staff brilliant as always too.
