Considering the hotel standard, we had higher expectations regarding the restaurant. We waited for 50 minutes to get the dinner we ordered. The food was good but not amazing.

Hotel changed booking time, even though we booked weeks before the date, they had a function so mucked us about, food was good, but expensive for the amount of food, not very generous. Overall ok

Went for Sunday lunch, which is a set menu affair. Quite a limited choice only 3 or 4 options for starters and mains, but what came out was excellent, and at £19.95 for two courses, good value for money. Service was a little slow, but that may have been compounded by the family table of about 20 behind us. Staff were very pleasant, although our waitress didn't seem too familiar with either the menu or the wine list. From considerable experience, we know this is quite often an issue with training. All in all, a pleasant experience, and we will certainly return at some point, now that we know what to expect.

Booked dinner as we were staying at the hotel for a function. Checked out the reviews after booking and was concerned at how mixed they were but needn’t have worried. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. We both had the ham hock starter and chicken supreme mains, both I would highly recommend. Slightly more expensive than average but was worth it. We were also offered a complimentary pre starter, a new item they were trialling focaccia bread of some sort which was also excellent and the server asked us after each dish for our opinions which we heard him feed back to the kitchen so they genuinely cared about what they were serving....

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was possibly the best we have ever eaten, and Matt, our server, went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. The cocktails he made had a unique twist, and he even offered to make us a custom cocktail that wasn't on the menu. Our waitress, Bella, was friendly and professional, and did a great job looking after us. Special mention goes to the young and incredibly talented Josh who made delicious Focaccia and starters. We wouldn't be surprised to see him on Master Chef in the future. Overall, this was more than just a meal out - it was a truly enjoyable dining experience that we highly recommend. If yo... Ver carta
