"Hadn’t been to the Cricketers, Hartley Wintney for some while and wish I hadn’t returned. Quite the worst fish and chip lunch. Greasy. The chips were poor too. I ate it to be polite to my host, but didn’t really want to! Certainly did not present well and certainly not value for money. Other customers food didn’t look very appealing either. To be fair the staff were welcoming, both friendly and polite."

Popped in here luckily they were able to find a table for us (Couple) had pie of the day chicken with bacon leek very tasty

Just been the the cricketers. Harley Wintney. Absolutely 1st class. Excellent food, service wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely reasonably priced meal here last week. Staff were welcoming and one of nicest glass of Rose' I have had in a pub. We'll be back!

The food was mediocre. Some of the staff were friendly, but others were not as pleasant. The restaurant has a beautiful setting overlooking the green, and I appreciate the service, but I will likely choose to dine elsewhere in the future.
