"The pub is great, inside and a very warm welcome. We stayed here with our motorhome overnight. The owners have thought about everything in terms of facilities. We ate here on a Wednesday...this s my only negative the burgers were not very good,over cooked , tough even... although the bread they were in was exceptionally nice . Would definitely stay again"

I had an excellent experience at the restaurant, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10. We enjoyed a nice meal that included two appetizers, three main dishes, and three drinks, all for just £55. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this place! Ver carta

Came across the crown by chance. Good traditional pub with great food service. Only there for an hour or two but looks like they have lots of live entertainment. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Whole Tail Scampi and Hand Cut Chips, Double Beef Burger

Stayed overnight in motorhome. Had meal in evening and it was certainly 5star well presented and tasted good. Staff were friendly altho a bit cold to sit outside in garden. Only approx 15mins to Dover ferry so a great stopover. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again. Parking: Private car park at side of pub Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5
