"Stay for one night before the Eurotunnel on the following day. This is what I would call a land pub that is family friendly with great reason for children. The rooms are all new with very modern fittings and have proved to be comfortable. Moderate size rooms that are large enough for short stays. Good shower over a bathtub and not a problem, the bathtub is very small and I would prefer a walk-in shower. Had a dinner and breakfast, both were well cooked and good value. Service was a little slow, but not when it tasted as if everything was freshly cooked, so every waiting time is worth it. Overall a great place to stay, excellent value and highly recommended."

Amazing food fabulous venue and lovely staff. Mussels are gorgeous for a starter but you gave to try the mixed fish grill for main as well as the lamb dish fantastic.

Because of our holiday, we ate in Lydden Bell for four days. We enjoyed the meals. Nicely prepared, not too much salt and delicious ale! In addition, a friendly service. Great employees!

Stopped of for a pint after work. Perfect crisp pilsner in a nice garden with a great countryside view. The barmaid was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to eat sometime soon.

a beautiful family, pet friendly pub. they had a cancellation on Valentine's Day and so glad we had to eat. eating was notch and not too expensive. the menu had another selection of means of life. personal more than helpful. table service. will be back soon.

Beautiful pub in beautiful landscape. My team and I are looking forward to a pint here to end most weeks. Most bar staff are really welcoming and friendly there is always one. Have not experienced any perfect chips yet, but the menu looks inviting so I can look forward to a roast.

many thanks for a beautiful meal on Tuesday night. we stay ahead of location and search for recommended local pubs etc. we have in the lydden bell pub after visiting the menu online. we have booked a table and we are happy to see our selection options. eating was delicious, generous servings and price as expected. (the best meals can begin at £12.95) the staff was friendly and attentive. the atmosphere was beautiful and we found the pub cozy and clean and the perfect balance between tradition and modern. overall a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend.
