"I made a reservation at the restaurant/pub through OpenTable, and received confirmation. Everything seemed fine. However, a few hours later, I received a call from The Crown saying they were fully booked and could not honor my reservation. I'm not sure where the issue lies, but my experience with The Crown through OpenTable was extremely disappointing. I would recommend booking directly with the restaurant in the future, although this shouldn't have been necessary."

The Sunday lunch could have been improved if it had been served hotter, and we would have preferred sharper knives to cut the beef.

I had a positive experience at the Crown before, but it's apparent that the quality has declined. The roast potatoes were terrible and everything seemed reheated. I was very disappointed.

great, warm, friendly pub/restoration with wonderful menu and quite expensive bar. on a coming beer/outside festival with quiz night on mondays. I've been here for years when I live in london. the opposite is good for a short break. would recommend everyone.

After I recently moved from london into this opposite, I tried some of the local pub restaurants, and the krone is our favorite. eating is excellent, and a good value, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. the building has a lot of character, with a good garden parking. I have no memory of recommending this place.
