Had dinner with family. Service was pleasant. Food is nice but very small, small portion. We felt ripped off

This pub, under new management, is much improved. A great team who give a warm welcome and serve excellent food and beer.

Went for a drink after walk. They have the fanciest toilets ever seen. Beer garden is ok. Didn’t try food. Not too bad. Seems ok. Ver carta

Buzzing pub with limited but decent menu, nice variety beers. As visitors to the village, we found it nice and friendly. Only one niddle, wish some chefs would cook the carrots a bit longer ..... sorry!

Much better than the George and dragon. The staff were so help full and the meals looked great.we only had a sweet well worth changing from the George. Well done. Will deffinatly recommend to our customers

Found this adorable pub by chance while visiting the Arboretum in the area, so pleased we did, staff were very obliging, despite being busy they managed to find us a table, the food was lovely, we had the special chicken burger and Fish chips, then the crumble and bread /butter pudding, great food , ambience etc highly recommend. What a hidden gem. The staff atmosphere and drinks were amazing. Lovely atmosphere classy but down to earth and the bar staff Chris and are a credit to the owner. They are worth their weight in gold. No one is forgotten and they are so welcoming you just want to come back. Food looks amazing so we will be back to sample that very very soon Puts other pubs in the shadows !!

This pub was a lovely surprise. There was a good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent with a bit of eastern influence on the menu. I had the Vietnamese spring rolls as a starter The hot chicken as a main was very good and others in the party thought the pork fillets were some of the best. It is a stones throw from the canal which we were travelling on so handy for an evening meal. A most enjoyable meal

After a long and tiring day at Drayton Manor, 2 adults and 3 kids, we needed somewhere to eat close to our Premier Inn and after a quick Google we decided to try The Crown and booked a table online. On arrival we were warmly greeted and taken to our booked table, I’d asked for 4 instead of 5 but this wasn’t a problem and we were relocated with no fuss. The 3 kids had fish and chips with several variations and the adults had the venison special, all plates were clean, absolutely delicious. From start to finish we were served by a delightful lady who was warm, friendly and efficient, a real credit to the establishment. Ambiance was also lovely, dog friendly and a nice buzz to the place.
