We had a lovely lunch here today. Good choice of dishes. We chose from the specials menu . The food was delicious and well presented . The fruit crumble and custard was really good! The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a visit. Service: 5 Location: 5

If your in the area I would highly recommend the food here . Lovely friendly staff,service very quick if not a bit too quick between courses. I can’t recommend this place enough. Me and my partner came for a quick lunch here, not knowing the area. The young brunette waitress, was amazing very kind and attentive running the restaurant. I stopped for breakfast at this restaurant and found it to be very good value. I received a friendly welcome and the restaurant was lovely and clean, with lots of interesting things to look at. The walls were decorated with the work of an artist. It is set in a lovely little village. The toilets were immaculately clean. I will definitely go again. Great job overall. Monday night, post VV busy Pateley show weekend. Malaysian curry flavours exactly what you’d expect, spicy but warming coconut flavors, a nice variation to the traditional pub grub. (If you haven’t had Matts steak and Ale pie, you’ve missed a reet treat) CHECK OUT THE SPECIALS!! Great mix of local and seasonal meals. Game season is here. Super experienced pub run by people who care, can’t be faulted. Thanks guys Rooms: 5

Real shame, only went in for a beer after a lovely walk nearby. Got served at the bar by a lovely blonde haired barmaid, the other younger dark haired barmaid was a more frosty, we had our dog and she didn't make us feel welcome, we had another drink and was served by the frosty barmaid !! If you want to work in a tourist pub then at least try and be nice or get a different job. Will not be going again, we were going to go for an evening meal, we'll spend our money at a different more welcoming pub. Ver carta
