"This will be my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. I highly doubt that our takeaway was prepared by a professional chef. The onion salad consisted of only chopped onions, and they were in large pieces. The mango chutney was very watery, and the mint yogurt dip tasted like milk. The onion bhaji was heavy and undercooked, so we had to throw it away. The keema naan was inedible and also ended up in the trash. Both of the curries we ordered were terrible, with pieces of chicken in a subpar sauce lacking peppers, and I suspect they used canned tomatoes. The only thing that was okay was the rice. This was by far the worst takeaway experience I've had."

I recently ordered a lamb tikka biryani for takeaway, which came with curry sauce and a side garnish of salad. The service was excellent and the collection time was just right. The dish was delicious, with the lamb cooked perfectly and a good balance of meat, rice, and sauce. It wasn't too spicy, which I prefer. I recently had an amazing meal at The Crown of India! The food was hot and delicious, the staff was friendly and efficient, and there was no pressure to rush through each course. I have ordered takeout from here in the past, which was always tasty, but dining in the restaurant was such a wonderful experience that we will definitely be returning. I am looking forward to coming back. The complimentary drinks and special pickle tray were a nice added touch.
