"Just when you think Boboli can’t get any better it does! Together with its sister restaurant, The Lighthouse”, these are our family’s favourite local restaurants and the only ones we will visit at the moment with the stunning menu and the scrupulous cleanliness and screens separating the tables making us feel super safe. For our latest meal our group chose delicious meat dishes including pork medallions with truffle mash and steak with Gorgonzola sauce a change from the amazing pasta dishes and fish we often choose. We finished off with divine desserts including their signature Tiramisu. Our meals were simply delicious. Sarah, Lino and the team have worked so hard to make people feel welcome and safe and this is our go to restaurant for eat in and takeaway. We love it for just the family or for a friends night out. In these difficult times it’s vital that we support our favourite local restaurants and our support goes to Boboli and the Lighthouse. I can’t wait to get back to the Lighhouse when it reopens later this week."

"Tired and hungry, five of us went to the Queens Head for a late Sunday lunch. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all fantastic. We started with drinks from the bar, followed by a variety of appetizers and delicious roast dinners with a generous assortment of vegetables, huge Yorkshire puddings, and thick, tasty gravy. We finished off with some shared desserts. The prices were very reasonable, so you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a satisfying meal with a few drinks. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and craving hearty, home-cooked style food."

"Not too far from the beaten track but far enough to escape the madness. Really quaint building in a lovely village. Started with a caramel cappuccino as good as any costa or starbucks. We tried the Sunday menu, which isn't huge but is filled with delicious offerings. I had the turkey roast dinner, which was really tasty. The veg was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The Yorkshire pudding was crispy and full of traditional homemade gravy and the turkey was generously portioned and sitting on a bed of creamy mash and roasted potatoes. Great views accross a lovely part of South Leicestershire. My advice would be to book ahead to avoid disappointment. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks guys you knock the ball out of the park. "This is a fantastic pub in every way. The local patrons are friendly and make newcomers feel very welcome. They even sang "Happy Birthday" to me, as it was indeed my birthday! As a fan of cask ale, I was delighted to see a selection of four ales available. I chose the Wherry, which was a beautifully kept pint at only £3.50—fabulous taste and great value. I was particularly impressed by Sophie, one of the bar staff. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and engaged with the guests, making everyone feel at home. All the positive aspects of this pub make it a must-visit spot in the area—possibly the best. I didn't try any food, but it certainly looked appetizing."

"I recently ordered a lamb tikka biryani for takeaway, which came with curry sauce and a side garnish of salad. The service was excellent and the collection time was just right. The dish was delicious, with the lamb cooked perfectly and a good balance of meat, rice, and sauce. It wasn't too spicy, which I prefer.
