"Have visited this pub on numerous occasions without a problem . However due to a medical condition I am not able to drink alcoholic drinks. I asked the bar attendant what 0% beers they had . With a laugh he said ‘ ha yes we have water’ ! With a laugh from the other bar person and someone stood at the bar . You may think it’s the way I took it but having been laughed at I wasn’t too happy . 0% beers are an ever expanding part of the pub business . Many young people prefer not to drink alcohol these days . And with the drop in numbers of people going out to pubs , whether the costs or a change to a healthier lifestyle it would surely benefit pubs to stock more 0% drinks . Maybe get one on tap ? The pub is the hub and should be for everyone whether or not they wish to imbibe in alcohol ."

One of my favourite places, amazing staff, awesome managers. Best spot in Keswick by a mile! Chilled atmosphere and dog friendly is a big plus!

Everything a catering pub should be. Welcoming Friendly, good service. The food was excellent Goulash like Mama would make it. I’ll be back for more next visit

True pub. Goulash and Vegetable Goulash very good. Mine was full of tender meat. Beer very well kept. Lots of dogs- all perfectly well beg so atmosphere in pub excellent!

Pub atmosphere, lots of noise and conversation but tasty pub food. Service at the bar, remember your table number when ordering, prompt delivery. Seems like a popular Keswick watering hole.

Great tradition pub. Very busy but worth a visit. The Goulash is a must! Getting a table can be a challenge. But love it!!! Excellent range of beers and drinks. We always make a point of calling in every time we are visiting the town.

The beer choice was excellent although my wife was disappointed with the wine choice (she had the malbec). You have to take pot luck on getting a table and we had to wait about 20 minutes for one to come free. We nearly lost it to a pair of old ladies who had only just come in but we were ruthless. We had hoped to try the goulash but that had sold out whilst we were waiting (we arrived just before 6pm so get there early) and so we had the steak and ale pie instead. Not a mistake, it was delicious. Tables are very close together so being sociable is a must we got chatting to a lovely couple from Norwich.
