My wife has dietary requirements and they have brilliant coeliac menu which is also reasonably priced

Food is a decent standard but the service is below par for somewhere that claims to be the best in the country

Fish and chip was nice but the portion size was on the small side for the price, considering how cheap potatoes are this was rather miserly. Won't be back. Ver carta

Really good chippy been a few time now cod and cod coujons are spot on chicken coujons are lovely and so is the fully loaded buger. Fantastic service as well.

Tuesday 4th August web site says open at 4 30 as it was 3 45 decided to wait its no 5 05 no sign of life no phone message to inform customers whats happening . V poor. PG chips here i come.

They certainly won't be winning any awards with the fish supper I was presented with. The batter on the fish was so soggy, it completely stuck to the paper, coming away from the fish. The chips were cold. Poor quality all over. Ver carta

Our usual chippy was extremely busy on Christmas Eve so instead of waiting we thought we'd give the Dolphin a try as we hadn't been in years. Big mistake. Burgers were very poor quality, tasted cheap and nasty. Lettuce was brown and rotting. Chips were terrible. We won't make that mistake again, should have just waited for our usual, there is a reason it's always busy!!

Given a fair few chances to prove themselves and have failed every time drove from portadown to their establishment 3 times now and every time have messed up the order with not even the slightest resemblance to what was ordered... even ordered a chicken supper to get home and get no chicken also asked for battered sausage and chip ended up with beans on chips rang them hoping for a solution but where no help at all wouldn't recommend at all... dont normally write reviews but just trying to save anyone the hassle and time as i wouldn't waste mine going back

For years I've read all the good reviews about this place and finally tried it and am afraid I was disappointed.the staff were very good but everything was very rushed so it maybe shouldn't have been a surprise my fish was overcooked and swimming in grease.the onions rings were good but the battered mushrooms I got were so soaked in oil that I ended up throwing them away.since this my first time ill give them another go and if is improvement I'll remove this review and if not I'll let it stand that I've found other fish and chip shops in the same area with better quality food.
