We had my daughters Christening here on Sunday. They did an amazing buffet for us for 50+ people and all staff were so friendly and helpful. We all had a brilliant day. Thank you!

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times since it was renovated and we highly recommend it. The dining experience was enjoyable, with generous portions at very affordable prices. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our children.

my family last night has the top room for a surprise 50. the place is beautiful, the employees were amazing, and would like to thank james for going beyond the call of his jobs, who took care of one of the guests who was a tad for the wear worse. a great thank you for making them unforgettable at night. Located in Cathays on the former site of the Paleo Chef and Falafel Cafe, the Early Bird bakery has been open for business since last November. Backed with the help of a Kickstarter campaign, owner and baker Ceri Johnston has done a cracking job of transforming the place. It’s eclectic and modern with a slightly DIY feel fundamentally though it feels authentic with no interior designer brought in to contrive a “look” for the place.

Being an advocate of the ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’ hypothesis (mainly as I’m a moody cow without some morning sustenance), I was keen to investigate an eatery that quite frankly had been on my radar for a while. Slightly tucked away on Woodville Road in Cardiff (although you will find it purely from the canary yellow exterior), The Early Bird Artisan Bakery and Café is one of those places that you can walk into and feel at home immediately.

My partner and I had our engagement party at this restaurant last night, and it was a fantastic evening! The two young individuals behind the bar were lovely and extremely helpful. From the moment I contacted the restaurant with my request, the owner was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our evening special. The restaurant space was perfect for our needs, and the buffet was delicious. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have such a wonderful party. Ver carta
