It was absolutely terrible - everything was burnt to a crisp and had a strong smell of burned oil. It was obvious that the boss wasn't present at the time."

I always enjoy ordering from The Eating Plaice. The restaurant is clean, tidy, quick, and the food is always hot. The staff are always cheerful. I would highly recommend dining in or getting takeout from here. Ver carta

States open till 8pm online and everywhere i can find yet was closed at 7 with no warning…can only rate it 1 star as couldnt taste any food. Iv had their fish and chips before and they are loverly just disappointed this evening

During our holiday in Alness, we enjoyed a fantastic meal from The Eating Plaice last night. I stuck with my favorite chips and mushy peas, which were delicious. However, my husband tried something more adventurous - the battered pizza and chips. He said it was excellent, and he also loved the red pudding.
