"My wife and I visited and were served by Darren who bent over backwards to assist my wife with a sirloin steak; when they said there were none left. He went out to the kitchen and found one. It was cooked beautifully and it seeed to melt in her mouth. Thank you. We returned the following day, Darren was not in attendance, but I decided to have a sirloin steak. When the steak appeared, instead of medium rare it was medium raw and the chips were soaked in cooking oil and inedible. Darren where were you; please help me next time."

Nice pub, but just a typical Wetherspoons pub. went in on curry night great value meal and drink in the price £6.95 i think...

Steak on tuesday was cooked realy good .chicken melt bacon cheese.jacket potato.onion rings chips.all good.you get a drink with it.very good value.service good.

Had dinner with the family here while as the cooker hadn't been delivered yet. Ordered and received a range of meals for our family of four. Everyone left full and happy.

Steak properly cooked to order with free beer. Nice dependable scampi. Ridiculously cheap real ale. Free soda and lime. Jolly staff. Interesting building with range of artefacts of local interest.

Got here at 7:45 tonight with my friend. Ordered a few drinks, after a little while, was approached by a young bar woman with badly dyed hair. She made a point of putting her fingers to her lips whilst collecting glasses saying: ssshhhhhh babes

Mix grill was very nice.plenty on plate.chicken with bacon was good to.my friend did say the portion of chips was a lot less.as she realy enjoys them.then we had pancakes icecream.maple syrup.drinks included.wasnt rushed.service very good.will be back.

It's my local and I'm always happy to visit here to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. Most recently when I visited I was pregnant and staff accommodated me very well with decaf tea when I asked. Would always return. It's a staple good Wetherspoon branch.
