"The food at this restaurant was fresh and delicious. We ordered calamari, fried squid, and fried zucchini flowers for ourselves, as well as fish cakes and chips for the children. Everything tasted amazing and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was that they charge £1.50 for extra sauce for the chips or fish, which was a bit disappointing. The portion of sauce given with the meal was not enough. However, ketchup was provided for free."

This place is very nice. Unfortunately I’m not a huge fan of fish. It’s extremely overpriced and didn’t have alternatives to fish such as sausage

We visited The Chance and were promptly seated at a table for two. The restaurant was bustling and energetic, but our meal was absolutely delicious and arrived promptly. I look forward to returning because the food was excellent. Our waitress, Justina, provided exceptional service and made us feel valued even though we were not regular customers.

We got the fish and chips and smoked haddock chowder for takeaway and sat outside overlooking the water. The view was great and the food was great too. Definitely recommend getting the tartar sauce to go with the fish and chips- worth the extra charge. The chowder had such good flavor and had just the right amount of salt.
