Brilliant service, food and drinks. Would definitely recommend and come back over and over again. Portions are a great size and all very tasty

overnight in my campervan (they are part of the Britstop network), could no longer have been welcomed. dinner was really delicious and there is a good selection of dressed on the menu. very friendly and attentive staff.

Easy free parking including disabled. Good variety of food, excellently cooked, daily specials, staff friendly an helpful. Really enjoyed our meal of rice and sesame chicken, very tasty, reasonable prices. Toilets very clean.

This pub is a delight, in an area devoid of good value and good quality food. Excellent choice on the menu, friendly people, and very good home cooking. This is possibly the only place in or near The Forest where you won't be treated as a tourist and ripped-off.

Stayed overnight as this a pub stopover. Had a meal and drinks. Service excellent unfortunately had a couple issues with food(cold , curry to runny) certain sweets had run out again unfortunately wasn't told till after ordered. Would we return yes deffantly. All establishments have occasional bad days

A lovely pub, right on the edge of the New Forest. It welcomes dogs if you're out on a walk, and drink and food are a decent price. The service are good for conversation, and the childrens play area is safe and in clear view for adults. Pub games are to be had, and manyt traditional and antique decor items are present.

traditional pub, beautifully decorated and atmospheric. eating was really delicious and good portion sizes and we felt that it was worth for money. the personal was friendly. we had gammonei and chips (3eggs! I had lammage that was beautiful and we had sticky toffee pudding and cocos and lime cheesecake- both very beautiful.

was already a few times in the forest home, but never really the need to write a review. the food was a pleasure. we ordered two drinks at the bar and our meals and took our seats. about 15 minutes later, I had a rare 16oz steak, chips, tweeper rings, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and by-alat placed in front of me. my partner had the forest home burger and she said it was great. but I'm a simple guy and steak is living. waitresses couldn't have been more attentive. very safe in this time of insecurity. will eat there again in any case!
