The Fox and Grapes - Carta

Being a Westcountry boy at heart, I don't normally expect to find pubs like these in London.

Booked a table successfully here and made the trip all the way across to find out that there was a private party and we weren't allowed in the door.

We had a great experience at our friends wedding party, great service, delicious food and the service, spot on. All the staff very helpful..We danced all night and been served with great drinks and great food. Definitely coming back for Sunday roast. Ver carta

Food was amazing steak and burger. Was gasping for a glass of Malbec which was not on wine list Gent kindly sorted me one out anyway makes such a difference. Atmosphere was wicked. Real highlight was the service and staff. Cant wait to go back. Dog friendly.

A great discovery during the hot days of August. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to the team at Fox Grapes for excellent service and delicious food. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and the haddock was a generous portion. The burgers were also top-notch.

It has been a few years since my last visit to the quaint town of Forty Exact. I used to frequent the common land, and the F G was always a convenient stop on the way back to college. I recently spent a pleasant lunch there on a rainy day. I had the beef and linguine, which was just what I needed - hearty and warm, but not overly heavy. Love this pub. I love the high ceiling in the main room which makes it feel almost old fashioned barn style and the low ceiling in the other room for dining making it feel more cosy. The drinks choice is good and cocktails surprisingly tasty for a place you wouldn’t think to get a cocktail in. Food is really tasty! I think the highest quality and tastiest pub food in the village, and I have eaten in all the pubs on multiple occasions. Staff have always been really friendly too. 100% recommended.

On our first day in London visiting our son, his wife, and their new baby, we took them to lunch at the local pub in Wimbledon, The Fox and Grapes. We enjoyed two bottles of Gobelsburger Gruner Veltliner Dry 2010 LössTerrassen Kamptal from Austria. went for a weekend walk around wimbledon common, but needed a bit susceptibility on the way. I was recommended to spend the hand in hand or the fox grapes when I was ready to spend a little more. Finally, the fox grapes were the one we took (both literally and metaphorically). it was a bit more pricier than normal, but eating was a quality to fit. I chose the squid and triple boiled chips. the squid was perfectly broken, and while the three-fold boiled chips were not as good as others I tasted, the muddy heaps were excellent. the positive noise from the other side of the table suggested that the burger was also quite good!
