"Don't bother, it's nice food but the service is terrible. Booked a table to have lunch but when we arrived were told it was a two hour wait for food because they had a high number of walk ins. Now that's fine if you don't take bookings and are busy, but unacceptable if you do allow people to book as we could have had a lovely Sunday lunch elsewhere at the time we chose had they not accepted our booking, knowing they have no system to actually honour these when busy. They also tried to claim every pub in Jericho would have the same wait, but the next place we tried were not taking walk ins so they could serve the people who had booked, and the third place sat us and fed us straight away."

OMG. It was all *so* good, and we both ate too much and still brought home leftovers. Such nice people working there too. You can tell the cooks taste the food and really do their best. I salute you, Gardeners Arms. Best vegan food we've had for many months.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, but unfortunately the service is very poor. Our meals were brought to us without any cutlery or condiments offered. When I asked the kitchen porter for cutlery, I was informed that the chef needed them. Unfortunately, they never came back to provide us with any. Although I don't mind getting my own cutlery, there was none readily available. I ended up having to wait in line at the bar to ask for cutlery from the staff. It seems like there may be a staffing issue, but regardless, the service definitely needs improvement.
