"We visit every winter and love the atmosphere, and the owner and staff are very friendly. The food is good, wholesome and local. The underfloor heating and fire are most welcome when it's -10 outside with a foot of snow. Sandie even lays on a supply of my favourite wine when we are in town. Waited 40 minutes to eat and there were only 6 people in the restaurant. The soup was really good but the burger was so tall that it was impossible to eat it as it was, we had to cut it down. We were disappointed after one week of delicious Scottish food.
