We absolutely love this place and visit whenever we can. It's wonderful to see the new seating in the open areas. There’s also a large playground for young kids to explore and play. The food is fantastic!

This lovely village pub is located in a peaceful area with plenty of parking and a nice playground for children. The drinks served at the bar are well maintained and the food in the restaurant can be delicious. While the atmosphere is pleasant, the prices are a bit high and the service can sometimes be lacking. Overall, when everything is good, it's really good.

A couple of weeks ago my family visited the George for a Sunday lunch and ate in the lodge area. It was a large booking, so it can sometimes be hard to please everyone, but we were all so impressed! The roast was amazing and great value too. Nothing was a problem for the lady looking after us, she made sure we had a perfect meal. Fab service. We will be back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A charming establishment, this beautiful old pub offers some of the best pub food you'll experiance. Our family has visited this place for various occasions over the years, enjoying the great food and charming atmosphere. However, on our recent visit on the 29 December 2024, we noticed a couple of issues. The steak and ale pie, ordered by two of us, was not served as hot as we would have liked.
