This casual dining restaurant offers great food, including excellent sizzling steak, Cantonese dishes, and curry beef. The food is fresh and the staff is wonderful.

Went for the Wednesday night buffet and it was lovely. Food variety was great, staff would bring more out of you asked them and they were really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Visited Sunday buffet.Cant fault the quality of the food it was outstanding and amazing value for money . Swift service with constant replenishment of food .More than enough choice. Several desserts but would be even better with ice cream ! .Thank you

Years ago this was the best restaurant in Formby, and our favourite (my 40th, my daughter's 18th) then it changed hands and went downhill very quickly. It's changed hands again and it's great again. Cleaned up, new decor, great food, great service and good prices, it's great to have an old friend back !

Came here on a Friday night and had the special Friday set menu . Had hot sour soup to start then we shared prawn toast , spring rolls , chicken satay , salt pepper chicken wings , bbq ribs . Followed by the duck pancakes then I had beef ginger spring onion. Food was outstanding probably best Chinese Iv had . Service was good Ver carta

Our family had a few takeaways from here during lockdown. It is not the best Chinese I have ever had but we do enjoy it as a treat every so often. I really enjoy the Beef In Black bean Sauce and the Duck With Pancakes but the Duck In Orange Sauce was not great as there was very little meat. The soups are tasty as are the spring rolls. Giving 4 stars and not 5 as could be improved but we still enjoy it.

When it was in the centre of Formby, this was a great restaurant; small but really good, with excellent food. The last time I visited here was 22 years ago, and last night, although a great night with family, the food was average. I had the chicken in brandy sauce, which was utterly tasteless. Maybe I just picked the wrong thing. However, this place has been a busy restaurant for many, many years; they really need to plough some money back into the surroundings and I don't mean a quick wallpaper job. The toilets are inadequate and are filthy!

After moving to Formby, Golden Bridge has become our go-to for takeaway since we haven't had the chance to dine in. Whether we prefer the comfort of our own home or simply weren't dressed up enough, the crispy aromatic duck ordered by Hayley was delicious. This dish, originally created by the Chinese in London Chinatown, has become a signature dish in many UK Chinese restaurants, based on the classic Peking duck. Our group also enjoyed the chicken sweet corn soup, but found the prawn sesame toast to be slightly undercooked and lacking Malaysian chili sauce.
