I really enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant, it had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I had a surprising experience at this restaurant, where they treat vegetarians just as well as meat eaters. It was a real treat to find a place that values all types of eaters.

This restaurant is terrible. It is only open sporadically, and is often closed. It is also very cold in the winter, and the management is incredibly rude. It is a shame that they do not care about their establishment and should consider giving it to someone who will take better care of it. Ver carta

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly. We had a fantastic lunch in the garden, which is filled with entertaining toys to keep children happy. They also host live bands and body shop parties. Our food was fresh and served quickly. If you are passing by, definitely stop in - you won't be disappointed.

Visited The Golden Dog Shipdham as advertised Dinner with dancing. Three course meal for twenty pounds, had to order what we required a few days before. Food was well presented and a lot of it, the only time we have been for a meal and could not eat it all but was allowed to take the cheese and biscuits home.

My family and I attended a wedding at this restaurant over the weekend. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful, and every effort was made to ensure that everyone, from children to grandparents, had a fantastic time. Even the pickiest eaters were impressed by the high quality of the food. The bar had a great selection of drinks, including my favorite, Rhubarb and ginger gin. I visited this pub for the first time last night and was extremely impressed. As you walk through the door, you are greeted by a cozy, local pub atmosphere where you can relax with a pint or two. To the right, there is a beautifully decorated sitting area with a bar, featuring fresh lime green accents. It's a comfortable space to wait for your meal to be served. Beyond this area, there is a room with a pool table and a lovely winter garden, decorated in light green and shabby chic style. I phoned through to make a booking a week in hand as heard the restaurant can get busy. We met up with friends of ours in the bar and at first when i walked in i thought i booked the wrong pub as it was a small local pub with a few friendly locals and no restaurant i could see. After speaking with the bartender and said i had a table booked they told me they had no recollection of my booking...all 4 of us feeling a little bit disillusioned and disappointed because we were all hungry. We visited the pub this evening after reading good reviews. My husband, our 16-month-old baby, and I were celebrating the purchase of my new car. Our reservations were at 7:30pm, but we arrived at 7:10pm. We ordered our drinks at the bar and carried them to our table. There were only us and another table of 6 adults and 2 kids in the whole dining area. We were seated but were told after 20 minutes that there was a delay. They did not even take our orders.
