Went in for Sunday roast with friends. Staff were great and food was good

Had a lovely roast dinner of lamb and my husband had lamb/beef/pork,absolutely beautiful dinner,felt tasted like a home cooked roast. Followed by Syrup sponge spotted dick and custard. Would highly recommend,lovely hosts

This family-friendly pub has amazing, friendly, and helpful staff. We recently had a birthday party here and it was fantastic, thanks to the hardworking people at the pub, especially Emma. Had an incredible and memorable birthday celebration with family and friends at this restaurant! The staff was amazing, providing great service in a perfect atmosphere. I ordered drinks at the bar after parking in the car park at the rear of the pub to pick up a couple of family members. I noticed a couple of signs but was not told to register my vehicle, even though I informed the landlady that I was in the beer garden and had parked in the car park. I ended up paying a £60 fine because by the time it arrived at my address, I was working away from home. When I returned, I called the pub to inquire about the parking fine, only to be told that they couldn't help me because I had already paid it. Perhaps they should inform new customers in the future that they need to register their vehicle, so they can enjoy drinks and food at the pub without facing unexpect... Ver carta
