Food lovely, as only people in restaurant area very awkward and quiet. Confusion over which menu we could order from.

This pub is absolutely lovely, with friendly staff and delicious food located in the heart of a picturesque village. We have frequented this place multiple times and have never been disappointed with a meal. The staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy and traditional without feeling outdated.

Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. However, there were a few issues that prevented me from giving it a five-star rating. I ordered a side salad without onion, but it came with onion. I asked for my steak to be cooked "blue", but it was served closer to medium. Additionally, I requested a dessert with custard, but it was served with ice instead.

The food was nice and the staff were friendly. I think our expectations were quite high because of reviews and that they had to take card details on booking but we had to wait over a hour between courses and it wasn't very busy. The waitress did apologise but only once they brought mains out and just avoided eye contact in between. We still had a nice time and would return.

This restaurant is located in a charming pub setting. The starters may be a bit pricey and the crowd was not as lively as expected. The main courses offered a better value for the price and were of decent quality, but could have been presented better. There were some delays in getting the food from the kitchen to the table. The desserts were excellent. Our bill came to £110 for a party of three. The location is beautiful and the menu offers a good variety, but there is room for improvement in terms of quality. Despite this, we would be willing to give it another try in the future.

It’s been a while since we ate here. We were very impress with the new decor. Service was great from the moment we walked in. They didn’t rush us to our table so we were able to relax in the bar for a drink. The young lady that was our server was polite, not pushy but apologise for the delay. We didn’t feel there was one. They were busy in the restaurant with a huge group so that’s most probably why she felt she should apologise. She knew what was available so when we order three of the same starters she knew straight away there was only two left, normally in our experience you order the food and the waitress would come back to say not available.
