"You have to look carefully to find the entrance, as the entrance is very anonymous and it may help to get the right mood when entering the door :-) The entrance is dark and rustic, BUT in the right way and At the counter you are met by very friendly and welcoming staff who warmly welcome you. There is a super nice, warm and rustic atmosphere in the restaurent and the staff complete the atmosphere with a very service minded and friendly service. The waiters have good knowledge of the food and the wines served and answered the questions we had in a good way and helped us with some good choices for us. We got a super delicious soup for lentils, a perfect steak for the main course, with various well prepared side orders, ended with a deliciously delicious dessert and left the restaurent with a big smile on the lips and a lovely memory richer. Unquestionably one of the best birthdays I have ever had :-)"

Very happening place with comprehensive menu. Good Meats and Fish. Good bar scene and extensive drink menu too. Worthy restaurant.

Was treated to an excellent dinner while on a business trip. They serve an amazing selection of beef, with great accompaniments and top wines. Cozy. Friendly staff.

The service was great and so were the recommendations for drinks and food choices. The Irish hereford dry-aged steak with a side of chanterelles was perfect. The Grand mule drink is also recommended. I would return.

Would highly recommend staying at this hostel in Berlin! Central location next to a train station made it super easy to get around! The staff were welcoming friendly and incredibly informing. 4 bed rooms were comfortable and clean. Great library in the bar also!

This is a very good, more upperclass restaurant with high quality food. The waiters are somewhat impersonal, but friendly. They are specialised in serving grilled beef of differents origins. You can't miss by choosing one of these. Real meat lovers will want to have it grilled rare and they do that very well. Price quality of this restaurant is not so good, since you have to pay for all the additional servings such as a small salad and french fries. The fries were baked much to hard, but that is the opinion of somebody whose origin lies is the country that invented french fries :-) For the money that you will be paying, you can find numerous other good restaurants in Berlin.
