Lovely pub with great facilities and friendly staff, only criticism is you need better signage informing patrons how to enter the pub from the car park.

The pizza was very good and quite authentic, better than the chain places! It was nice to sit out in the garden and the staff were very good and helpful.

If you are going to hire the barn for a party the sound system they have is inadequate for this It is not loud enough if you have 40+ people in your party if you want to have a disco-style party.

Brilliant little countryside pub. Explained when we arrived that pizzas currently were not available but this was no problem. They have a new extensive menu and both myself, husband and the children all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Yes as mentioned below the pub was quiet but I don’t quite know what people would expect mid January after Christmas and a cost of living crisis. Service was absolutely faultless. Also lovely to see the managers interacting with their staff and customers, not just sat in an office. We will be back

Went for pizza, but the pizzaiolo was away, given the place is famous for its pizzas, would have been good to tell us while booking. However we decided to stay for food, the empty dining room should have been a warning sign. Starters were fine. Main course not so much. One of us ordered steak. It looked like it has been pre chewed. Another ordered spaghetti bolognese, the spaghetti was raw, it looked like it was microwaved, very dry, and the risotto could have done with being cooked. Overall very disappointing and certainly not worth the heavy price. Ver carta
