Brilliant, food wonderful and atmosphere just like a good pub should be, welcoming , friendly ,comfortable

Never visited this pub before. Found it really good, very pleasant friendly staff. Put on a lovely buffet. Will certainly return.

5 stars alone for bass on tap, a win in any British pub book. only my opinion, because otherwise, beautiful pub to a pint in, with a good selection of ales! Ver carta

My partner and I went for lunch. He had fish and chips (not greasy at all), and I had the freshest salad with perfectly cooked steak. Both dishes were only £15.00. Thank you! The bartender/server also deserves credit.

came for a quick drink with the woman, quite animated bar, but took an old to serve finally got my drinks. sitting was not the most comfortable. eating was ok-pie and chips twice, large enough portion but served warm. average total

we had a meal here in the week and we couldn't mistake her, I had rinder bourguignon my fiancée had rump steak and they were both beautiful. the beer was excellent and the staff was friendly. the pub has a great, relaxed atmosphere and the decor is really nice. overall we really enjoyed it here and are going to definitely be back. What a great pub! We look for a great atmosphere, fab food, and excellent staff the Green man has it all. This was the 4th pub we tried for food, the Bull and Red Lion in Repton and the Dragon round the corner. This is the best pub in the area and also at excellent value! The staff were attentive and well managed by Karen. The food was 'proper portions ' and really tasty. The venue easily transitions between a pub food venue to a vibrant traditional pub. If you 're bored of the gastro pretentious pub this is the best remedy! Loved it here! 5 stars!

The staff at this restaurant are absolutely amazing. We were refunded for a kids meal that we were accidentally charged for, which we hadn't even noticed. They came over to our table to inform us, which was very honest of them. Chloe, a bar staff member, was lovely and even brought our 4-year-old an ice cream, which made his day. A lady named Val, who was sitting at a nearby table, was also very kind and helped us, even though she wasn't on shift. I will definitely be a returning customer. This is a wonderful and kind place to eat with our little boy. We highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for the warm welcome and great atmosphere.

I first called into this pub. it has just reopened after a refit and is very nice. Although we did not eat at this opportunity, we will return to it in the future. menu had something for everyone. the personal was pleasant and the atmosphere in the inner was beautiful at our visit. update 21feb2022 was taken for lunch and the food was excellent. the pub was very busy with many reserved tables, which is a good indication of how popular the pub is. we had blt sandwiches with chips and they were delicious. other tables had full grinding times of fish and chips to steak and each plate went empty again, another good sign. we will soon be back for dinner, as well as drinks. this pub has a beautifu...
