"a few years ago I went here regularly, it changed the hands and went on the hill drastically the food and the service was terrible. a friend and I decided to have a Sunday dinner there and as being among a new landlord since the last time I went I was a little doubtful, I am so glad that we left today. the food was ordered and the young man who bought it on the table could not have been more polite and helpful, eating even from the menu was excellent cooked to perfection and beautiful and hot when brought to the table. we both decided that we will definitely be back, well done to bring back the good old days of quality and service"

My daughter and I called in for lunch on the way to Stafford hospital and found the staff to be very polite and efficient. Our meals arrived quickly and were piping hot and cooked to perfection. Having enjoyed the meal we both decided that we will definitely be eating there again

Arrived at 12.30 Sunday , 4adults and 3 children struggled to get a table as was so busy , had to wait a while to purchase voucher for carvery and drinks but was certainly worth the wait . Meat was beautiful, very wide selection of vegetables. Excellent value for money will certainly be returning.

was already a few times. have read some of the reviews and be honest don't know what people want. you enter. find a table. note table number. Take your food. order them to eat and drink at the bar. enjoy their meal and go. they can't blame the staff. eating is always amazing. good quality food at a reasonable price. many parking spaces in a well-designed garden. beautiful view of the landscape. can not wait to visit again. well made greyhound and staff.xx
