"A cozy, rustic dining pub with accommodations, The Greyhound Inn is a rare gem in this rural area. Locals gather in the bar, accompanied by their dogs, to enjoy the warmth of the log burner, sip on a few ales, and engage in lively conversations. In contrast, the dining area offers a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The menu leans heavily towards fish dishes, moving away from traditional pub fare, but I found the homemade steak and ale pie to be absolutely delicious. My stay was brief, but The Greyhound Inn met all my needs. The bar boasted an excellent selection of draft drinks on both sides. I wish there was a place like this in my village! Breakfast was superb, with plenty of fresh, thick-cut toast and great coffee to start my day. Overall, I would rate my experience at 4.5 stars, mainly because my room was situated above the bar, allowing noise to travel easily. However, I used my noise-canceling earbuds, which solved this issue for me. Cheers! As for the rooms, my double room was small but sufficient for my solo business trip. Being of a larger build, I found the typical shower cubicle a bit cramped."

Lovely place to have a beer and a great pub meal after finishing a long walk in the surrounding area. The lovliest staff and great food and wine. Clean, cosy and relaxing.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch where you never feel rushed. The food is consistently excellent, just as you'd expect. The dishes are well-presented, and the drinks are great too. Service deserves a perfect score of 5, as does the location. One of the highlights of this hotel is its peaceful atmosphere.

We recently held our wedding reception at The Greyhound Inn. This is a lovely location in a nice peaceful village. The staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly. The food was excellent and tasted great. We had many compliments from our wedding guests, saying how good the venue and food were. Many thanks to Tim and staff for helping to make our day special.
