we went to lunch on Sunday and got the 3 courses for £40 and it was worth every penny. the waiting staff was great, the restaurant is stunning and the eating was delicious. in any case it will go again. would recommend the grill by hw everyone.

First visit and will definitely be back. Lovely place to be sat, food was just unbelievably amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for you! The menu was fully explained so we knew exactly what we were getting, and despite being busy they were attentive throughout. Possibly the best burger any of us have ever had, in a fantastic restaurant... experience all round.

If you love steak or burgers this place is heaven. The waiting staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and boy was the food good accompanied with a rather superb wine list! Don't expect a huge menu as they simply focus of their beef, and for the quality that you get the prices are very reasonable. Well worth booking a visit for the best burger in Scotland.

I can't talk much about the place! Last night has eaten a beautiful meal. the love for detail in every sight was thought. the cuts of wague that we had just melted in the mouth. we were very well supervised by christine our host. the wine list was the world class I've ever seen. a must. the prices were very good. as I always say, you get what you pay for. highland wagyu well done.

we treated my other half to a birthday meal, we both thought the taste of the wagu steak was phenomenal! had never such a steak! the personal was fantastic, visited our table from the word go and gave us a detailed explanation of the different meat cuts from the menu and how the cook prepared it. the restaurant decor was stylish/modern and a very relaxing atmosphere. every penny worth. many thanks for a fantastic meal, will be back in the future!

had really wonderful evening in the grill. they enjoy delicious food, including exquisite wagyu bark (and lobster! and were treated royally by beautiful workers who gave us a free, amazingly tasteful cream caramel. pumped into our sweet, generous neighbor and in the rule our ninth high-time jubilee in the tastier style would not have celebrated. to cover everything, they even had seedlip! the seasoned version loved. rupert drank a special coffee from a golden cup. happy jo and rupert!

So... unbelievable International calibre steakhouse in a beautiful and central Scottish village. The very best steak with locally sourced produce (the supply chain is owned end to end by the same folks who have excellent taste). Nick and Kaitlin looked after us. Nick has an amazing knowledge of the cuts and menu; has a terrific attitude. Kaitlin really looked after us, and did a great job. Had a fantastic evening, and honestly world class as good (better) than what I’ve had in NY, London or Tokyo.

First time I have visited The Grill by HW the meal was FANTASTIC! Everything about this new restaurant was great, the decor is modern/stylish clearly done to the highest of standards. I had a 3 course meal every course was as good as the last (although the main star was the exceptional wagyu fillet steak chips, has to be the beast steak I’ve had in ages). All the staff are friendly very informative/passionate about their product. Overall a great experience would highly recommend, my husband I will definitely be back in the future.

We discovered Highland Wagyu whilst we were London residents and we hot super excited when we found out that they opened their own restaurant and that we will end up living nearby The restaurant started getting the recognition it deserves after it was featured on Remarkable Places to Eat (BBC two), but the wonderful staff, owners and produce deserve even more I can see some comments that it's pricey and it might be for the area, but it definitely is not pricey for the quality and the type of meat!
