"We came for lunch on a Saturday, we were advised that it would be a 30 min wait. The food didn’t arrive for another 55 minutes, and it came to us barely warm like it’s been sat on a hotplate so not sure if they forgot something. Other tables that had arrived well after us got the food well before we did. The food was mediocre, perhaps would have been better if it was hot. All the fried items like chicken or onion rings needed seasoning on the batter as it was quite bland. Overall a disappointing experience, we paid £70 for 3 people and it made us late for the rest of us our plans"

Always love Fat Hippo, been going for three years and is my favourite restaurant. Been served by brummy Jack twice in our most recent visits and he makes you feel so welcome. The food is amazing and can not fault it at all!

Finally a burger worth mentioning! The kraken edition was very tasty, even overly seasoned, the fried mozzarella was really an extra. Nice atmosphere with air conditioning too cold. Only one beer on tap. Friendly staff. Burger prices include fries.

Fat Hippo in Liverpool serves up delicious, flavorful burgers. We got the set 2 course food and the burgers were amazing. No regrets. A must-visit spot on Bold Street for the best burgers in town. Definitely trying the chicken burgers next time they look soo crisp and amazing in person.
