"We booked for my wife’s birthday after being recommended by several people. The H&H did not disappoint, the pub itself is lovely and set in the picturesque village of Lothersdale. The staff were all really friendly and attentive to everyone, the food was superb from starter to dessert. I’m more than happy to pass on the recommendation given to myself to others, book in advance though."

Went today as on holiday in the area had a platter between the 2 of us nicely presented and very tasty.didnt have desserts as the platter was very filling .

Great newly refurbished pub which I can foresee becoming the hub of our lovely village. Looking forward to many more happy times spent there after a great Christmas and New Years Eve.

Brilliant renovation of this lovely village pub. Cosy, warm and welcoming. Elliot and Abbie are really friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to meet up with friends, family and neighbours.

Met up with some family for a meal. We all enjoyed it and overall fir was good. Two of us had steak and ale pie which was very good. I'm only marking it down as the chips weren't fully cooked. Which was a pity. However this is a cracking pub. Very friendly and my cousin lived the 70s music.
