Great food and service. We all really enjoyed it. We had the meat platter, salmon and goat cheese salad, all delicious.

The Hope has a lovely atmosphere, feels very welcoming when you walk in, staff were attentive without being pestering, food was delicious and good value.

We had a lovely evening here for a friend's birthday. Good menu great service. Very accommodating. Very handy for transport so everyone could have a drink a safe journey home.

I recently had dinner at The Hope to celebrate a friend's birthday. Nabeby had the mussels, which he loved, while I had the sea bass and also tried the chicken tempura and house-made burger. All of the dishes were delicious, and I would highly recommend them. We enjoyed a few drinks during and after our meal, and found the prices to be very reasonable. The atmosphere at The Hope is friendly and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend dining at The Hope.

The food was excellent and the staff were friendly at this restaurant. However, we were disappointed with the service and seating arrangement. We arrived at 12 o'clock and received our food 45 minutes later (although there were 7 of us). No one came to clear our plates or offer dessert menus. We were in a rush to attend a show at the SSE Hydro, so we asked for the bill and left without ordering dessert, even though we had booked our table in advance for a two-course meal. It seemed like there were not enough staff for the number of diners, and our tables were awkwardly placed next to a wall, making it difficult to get in and out.
