The Hudson - Carta

The food tasted like it had been heated up in plastic containers in a microwave for an event like a wedding or some other catering event

It was fine. Even though when booking informed was birthday this was not acknowledged. Food was average but good price for what it was. Typical hotel restaurant not hi by fancy.

The food and restaurant are both beautiful, but the service is terrible. The staff are constantly on their mobile phones, chatting among themselves, and not attentive to the customers. Ver carta

Have dined at the Hudson before and it was very good, hence our decision to go again, big mistake. They didn't have the starters or desserts we wanted and offered very limited alternative choices but main course was good. Service was dreadful, waited over 40 mins for dessert but had to leave before it came as we had a date at the theatre.

I always have a fantastic time at The Hudson. It's my preferred spot for meeting up with friends and family. The staff and food are always impeccable. A special thank you to Thomas and George for taking such good care of us on Saturday. The music and ambiance in the bar area after dinner is a perfect way to end the night. Can't wait to visit again!

terrible food, I ordered a course and had a not bad starter, however, the main dish, curry was terrible at its appearance and taste. the appearance looked like the awful contents of the food garbage box. the taste is just bad and no more or less. Compared to its other served food, the curry was the most awful so that I wondered who created the recipe and I wish I never come across it again in my trip. Ver carta

Was really looking forward to eating here had good feedback from friends unfortunately I didn’t feel the same about my experience. although the cubicle we sat in was perfect there was little to no atmosphere some background music would have been nice and I sat with my coat on for most of the night as did other people in the restaurant I could see, the food was ok. I definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

Disappointed in menu choice, wasn’t aware only Sunday menu. The length of time waiting for food to arrive.The lack of attention from staff from clearing the table to overall making sure diners we satisfied and ready for next course. Two members of our party had to ask when the main courses were arriving on two separate occasions.Our dining experience was acknowledged when the bill arrived we were given a slight discount and eventually an apology for the inconvenience which was appreciated.

The four young waiters provided extremely unsatisfactory customer service. Despite the restaurant not being busy, with only three tables occupied, the waiters continuously returned to the desk to lean on it and chat amongst themselves. It was difficult to grab their attention as they avoided making eye contact, making it impossible to request anything. Despite asking for water glasses three times and requesting the bill twice, the waiters were unresponsive. One even rudely replied, "I've already given you the bill," when we inquired about paying.
