V Warm welcome. Very good service, excellent food. Don't be put off by the somewhat dreary exterior and very large under occupied car park. We had been previously. Have now booked to return with friends.

Visited with 2 friends recently. Went for an evening meal. Standard pub menu plus interesting specials. Our main meals were very tasty with fair sized portions. Very organised, helpful coertious staff. Definetly worth a return visit. Recommended.

We had a great Sunday lunch mine was a delicious roast beef, crispy roast potatoes and variety of fresh veg. Partner had a tasty fish pie, fries and salad garnish. Sweet was local “Ivor’s” ice cream and raspberry pavlova. Manager Dan is always welcoming...and staff very friendly. You can always rely on The Huntsman for a lovely meal. Ver carta

Stayed 3 days. Best staff I have come across in many years. They all new my name and used it from day one. They take a genuine interest in guests. Well done to the manager for his staff. Room good, clean and comfortable. All evening...meals and breakfast were very good. I would definitely stay there again. All staff very good and will mention Carl.

We only booked an hour before our visit. The Huntsman were able to accommodate 6 of us plus a child. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service throughout was excellent. 5 of us had a Sunday roast and the 6th lesson ordered from...the menu. The food was served quickly and was lovely. We were not rushed at all. I would definitely recommend a visit.

What an absolutely fantastic restaurant that we found through the great reviews we had read online. Carl the General Managers service and the rest of the team was second to none and the food surpassed all our expectations. My friend and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening (after completing the Cotswolds Way quarter Challenge). It was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, piping hot and very tasty, with really good portions. The service was faultless. All the staff was so friendly...and attentive. And we did not have to wait for our food too long. The decor and atmosphere were lovely too. I would very happily return if ever in the area again.

The Huntsman is situated just off the M5 therefore is an ideal stop off whether you are travelling north or south. The rooms are situated at the back of the pub overlooking the fields, making it very quiet and ensuring a good nights sleep. Bedrooms...are furnished to a very good standard and extremely clean. The food is excellent with a varied menu. The staff are incredibly friendly, and provide a warm welcome. It was a pleasure to visit this pub, with good honest staff, food and prices. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Huntsman, you will not be disappointed.

We stumbled upon this gastropub on the way from the M5 to Berkeley on the A38. The exterior appeared to be a typical pub, but we later discovered they also offer rooms. The friendly barmaid greeted us and took our drink orders, as well as providing us with menus. After ordering our food at the bar, it arrived promptly and was delicious. The staff checked on us multiple times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, bordering on being too attentive. The decor was a bit worn and tired, with dirty seats and dusty furnishings. While the service and food were excellent, the over attentiveness and lack of genuine care brought the overall experience down. Three stars for good service and food,... Ver carta
