we were staying here and chose to eat too. Glad we did. Good food served at a good price and they have a lovely local gin!

Fantastic little pub. Mike and Meg are fabulous hosts, with unending energy. Room was very comfortable, as was the bed. Highly recommend.

Stayed here recently for a local course in MOD Lyneham. It was well-situated and easy to find. The rooms were good, the beer was good, and the food was excellent! The owners were very friendly and we felt extremely well-catered for.

Nearing the end of 6 days from Goring to Overton. Stayed here and met with a couple of friends for dinner. We all chose differently and we agreed the pub food was excellent and reasonably priced. Fine cask ale from the cellar brought up in jugs. Comfortable large room Enjoyed eggs benedict for breakfast before settling off for the final day. Well recommended if you are doing the Ridgeway and like good beer and pub food.

Our second visit to this lovely Inn.We were staying at The Inn for 3 nights as it proves to be an ideal base for a long weekend attending a Metal Detecting Rally. Megan Mike and the team so very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.We had a Full Breakfast each morning and an evening Meal together with a couple of packed lunches which kept the hunger at bay during our outings .
