The Iskele - Menú

Server was fantastic. He was attentive and went out of the way to get the delicious coconut ice cream my wife loves even though it wasnt on the menu. Resturant atmosphere was cozy and we're looking forward to the next visit

the interieur and the facility that reflects a beautiful culinary experience through its casual restaurant. the service was super efficient and the staff on the table were friendly. the food came quickly. the choice was abundant with a fusion of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. good for business.

For meat eaters you'll have a field day with the variety of meals on offer, but the options for vegetarians are a bit lacklustre in comparison. The food is a reasonable price as the portions served are a good size. The staff too were kind in helping us decide what food to get, and there wasn't a person who regretted their option.

What a great find! Three of us seated with no reservation and no problem. The food was amazing. Italian and Turkish food an unusual mix but we had Turkish and it was delicious. Probably the best lamb Ive had for years. Good service, quick food delivery and we never felt rushed at all. Genuinely recommend this place and will go again if in the area.

the filled wein leaves were brilliant, as the spicy garnels with a hauch ingwer, the lamb juice pastes were tenderly spiced and with the chili sauce they offer as a groom it was great. I think they should lose the riders with this court, although it seems out of place. also the Turkish reispudding was fabulous. Apart from this little gemstone in a side street I almost missed, really good eat!

The ambience is nice, the decor transports you to Istanbul, and the food portions very generous and sumptuous : what more can a girl ask for a mid-week mid-work lunch. They have nice Turkish Merlot wines as well in case you did want to ask for more ; I had the chicken skewers as my main and chicken wings for starters and I was well fed and very happy by the end. Recommend this if you are in this area.

the iskele is a Mediterranean restaurant with a really cool decoration. the food was great, the lamb cuprole packed a stamp, and the super mix grill was very pleasant (I shared with a friend, I am not so much of a glutton.) we had a meze and halloumi appetizer, well cooked, can not really go wrong with these options. for dessert we have shared a ottoman kadayaif and a dene. delicious, but much too much for a single person. the price was appropriate for the experience.

Very very good. First of all, it is one of the very few restaurants open until late in the evening, so that if you want to enjoy a show or an exibition at the Barbican, you can definitely eat something good without rushing out in the middle of the performance. The staff was kind, the atmpsphere warm and cosy, and the special chef was simply delicious. It was not the first time for me eating Turkish food, and this one was indeed one of the best meal I had ever had. I strongly recommend it, also because prices are even with the quality of what you are offered. A weak point? Perhaps the desserts.

As we had come to The Iskele late lunchtime, we were expecting it to be fairly quiet. But it was the opposite, the restaurant was pretty much packed and so it was a good thing that I had made a reservation. The luscious colours, wall hangings and lanterns from the ceiling welcomes diners into The Iskele! The dining area is fairly big although some of the tables are quite close together. There are lots of ornaments decorating the walls and shelves around the restaurant. The Iskele also has quite a big outdoor dining area with wooden tables and chairs.
