"we were in the hotel for our wedding anniversary in juni and decided to try out the restaurant for dinner. the personal was beautiful, but seemed very overworked, although the restaurant was only half full. we were not offered a brot, the wee needed to come old, and we saw that it was taken a few times back and forth, apparently it was not cold, so was put in an ice cup, it was not cold, but was cool, then the garnel and chicken curry came without the garnel, so we had to ask for them! it was nice when it turned up. our appetizers of grilled cocktail and smoked salmon cannelloni were amazing, really delicious. the bill was quite expensive for what we had, the yarn and chicken curry was nice, but over £16, which was a bit on the expensive side for what was a huh, garn, butternut cut and rice. there was a lot of renovation before the new restaurant opens and maybe this is all taken into the hand. it was a shame, because we really looked forward, we had a nice time that we laughed about all the problems, but would not frighten."

I have tried the set menu and was impressed by the delicious Asian bark salad, the sea bass of my companion and the offer of cocktails. great attentive service and would return definitiw.

The food was really good value for money. I had the steamed lobster which was lovely. The chips and salad are unlimited so myself and friends did indulge and make use of this. The drinks were also lovely and made for a good evening.

book for a afternoon tea to celebrate two birthdays. very beautiful environment and a beautiful tee, loved the scenes with dipped cream and jam and the small cake. beautifully presented. very good value because we didn't know there was a promo this day.

Some might be put off by the fact there is only a choice of two meals. But don't! Both the steak and lobster are amazing so its well worth a visit. Also cocktails are a little different to the classics which is a nice addition to a romantic meal. Service is great: staff are both attentive and friendly.

Nice venue, nice decor, a little cramped getting in and out your seat. Staff fairly friendly. Lovely toilets with nice hand wash creams etc, clean too. Lobster portion, tiny! I'd go for steak if I go again. Chips portion tiny too but you can ask for more included in the price. I'd expect more food for the money I spent. Came out hungry!

My only gripe with this place was that the unlimited salad and fries refills were very slow to come. My partner had finished his steak by the time the extras had come out. A bit of a shame. However, the restaurant it loves, decor and ambiance is fab. Staff were very attentive and the food delicious. I would definitely recommend this as a good quality place to go.

The service was amazing , the location was amazing. The cocktails were great I am told , the steaks were tough and old , the lobster was over cooked and we are talking way overcooked. The lobster has been boiled many hours ago and kept soaking in the pot for many hours before grilled and served. Quite a disappointing evening where the food is concerned but the staff are amazing and very attentive and cheerful.

this is our second visit in this restaurant, it was a feast and we have made a good choice. there is a lot to choose on the menu in all 3 cursors and we had a great selection of dips in the night and there was not a thing that we did not thoroughly enjoy. everything was fresh and cooked for perfection. the service was perfect and we were literally waiting for hand and foot. very recommended and will return very soon
