Comfortable quick lunch outdoors pod (shed) booked, covid friendly and sensitive behaviour from staff, would definitely eat there again.

I brought my wife here tonight for a meal. the staff could not take up the food was nice, the steaks were perfectly cooked. many thanks for a beautiful evening

what a nice, baby-friendly pub, after a terrible experience in a nearby caffe, the staff today made our lunch for us and our 7-month sohn very easy. we really enjoyed the food, flexibility, helpfulness and changes on the menu as well as our fabulous waitress. Thank you.

We've not been here for a while so we rocked up yesterday for a late lunch, it was busy we hadn't booked but we got a nice table inside. There's plenty of choice on the menu the food was well presented tasty. Despite eating too much I had to have the apple crumble. Our server Lauren was brilliant (as were all the staff) only downside was your coffee machine wasn't working but otherwise a great experience.

A really good vegan menu with choices such as Mushroom Wellington, enchiladas tofu Katsu curry As we visited on Sunday I had the Vegan Nut Roast carvery-the nut roast itself was delicious came with vegan gravy. I went up to the carvery to choose my veggies- today on offer was broccoli, swede mash,parsnips, cabbage,carrots roast potatoes. We love this place, lovely food and a good selection. Great outdoor area with lots of atmosphere, also with the added bonus of a play bit for kids. But the VERY best thing that sets the Jovial apart from other local pubs and keeps us coming back again and again is the absolutely awesome staff! Everyone is SO friendly and helpful, cheerful and attentive. A very special mention for two members of the team that always stand out for us and that’s Emily and Tilly, both always so energetic and welcoming!

I was disappointed with the vegan food at this restaurant. My mushroom Wellington was burnt, as were the potatoes, and the seasonal vegetables were overcooked. It was all inedible. My mother and husband tried the vegan katsu curry and found it to be just okay, not great. On the positive side, the vegan milkshake was good and the staff were friendly. They also discounted our bill for my meal. However, I don't plan on returning as I still feel that even with the reduced price, the meal was overpriced for the quality we received.

large meal from an interesting menu. there are many vegetarian and vegan options. I am trying to say that at least 50% of the choices fall into this category. for the first time I ordered a vegan pornstar: enchiladas, not because I wanted a vegan meal, but because I like Mexican cuisine. it was very good, though I found the vegan cheese tasteless. the personal was friendly and accommodating. the only easy part is that, as many places, when they delete the dirty flirt from the net, the personal disappears. we could finally see pudding menus. I went so that I can't talk to the drinks menu, but it seemed good. there is a huge sitting area in the open, including a gardenable, which must be busy...
