"We pre booked a table for 7pm. We were told to sit at any table. The only one available was dirty with left over food and empty glasses. We ordered drinks at the bar and a meal on the app. At no time we were told there was over an hours wait for food. When I queried how long the food would be after already waiting 40 minutes we were told at least another hour as there were 8 tables before us. We had no choice but to ask for a refund and go elsewhere. In reply to King Henry’s response. I have not received any contact from the Manager? I therefore cannot respond to it?"

Staff were very friendly and accommodating the atmosphere was very good it was a real shame the food was a big let down. Chips were cold and the chicken on my burger was over cooked and dry the onion rings were also cold. Such a shame. Service: Dine in Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

King Henry changed landlord a few months ago and it gets better and better. Today we had sizzlers and sizzling they were. Fabulous well cooked food. We had 4 meals in the last 2 weeks and all were cooked to perfection. Parking: Plenty of parking space. Ample. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

My wife loves the sizzling chicken from this pub chain so we booked a table at King Henry to celebrate her birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and, as a surprise, the chef, Dale, personally served her a platter of chocolate, strawberries and sauce what a wonderful and thoughtful 'gift '.
