The Kings Head - Menú

We had a wonderful Christmas lunch and the The King's Head. The service was so attentive, the food was delicious and portions exceptionally generous. The whole experience was memorable. Thank you so much.

After flagging with the waitress that a member of our party was very allergic to mustard, we found a menu item which we were assured was mustard-free, Said person was then the dish with a large amount of the ingredient and was subsequently very unwell.

Brilliant place. Lovely food- always fresh and delicious. Great staff, really friendly and helpful. Lovely garden down to the river, and pods fir private dining if it’s too chilly to sit outside. Dogs welcomed, and children have room to run about on the grass. Great offers during the week, pizza evenings, tapas evenings and the normal great menu. Love this place, if in the area do visit.

We were warmly greeted by the friendly hostess who was very accommodating during our visit. The sandwiches were fresh and filled with high-quality ingredients. The scone was large and crumbly. The cakes were traditional homemade squares of delicious treats (there were also a couple of macarons). Overall, there was nothing to dislike. This is a great spot for afternoon tea if you're in the area.

this is our favorite public house in the country, if not the country. the garden is the showstopper here that returns to the river nene. the nene way to foot through the pub, so it is also good for walkers. we thought today for drinks and snacks and just love everything about the Kings head. Dog and family friendly, there is a large area for everyone to enjoy....in surprise there are no boat trips from the garden! an excellent pub and garden....good a look worth! visited on the 14th March 2022.

We were treated to an evening meal by friends in one of the pods and it was fantastic. Great food superb service and a lovely warm pod. In fact it was so good that we decided to return for Sunday lunch and again booked a pod. Despite it absolutely pouring down the service was just as good and the food was once again excellent. Portions are large, everything we tried was tasty and well seasoned. The Sunday roasts are really wonderful. Thanks to all the staff for making both our visits so enjoyable and we shall certainly return.

only a great place to visit! the location is excellent next to the river so that they can relax with an excellent glass wine or a beer while sitting in the beer garden under the trees. the river has often dug boats, how people stop to have a meal in the pub. at our last visit they had a barbecue so they could have a burger in a bungalow with their beer! wadenhoe in a beautiful village to explore. they can go to church when they feel energetic before they go for a well-deserved glass wein. on a Sunday you can get sometines a creamtee in the village hall!

Just a great place to visit! The location is superb right next to the river so you can relax with an excellent glass of wine or a beer whilst sitting in the beer garden amongst the trees. The river often has boats moored as people stop to have a meal at the pub.On our last visit they had a Barbecue going so you could have a burger in a bun with your beer!Wadenhoe in a lovely village to explore. You can walk up to the Church if you are feeling energetic before you go for a well earned glass of wine. On a Sunday you sometines can get a cream tea in the village hall!

not sure how they can claim to be vegetarian friendly, with only one veggie option on the menu, back to the bad old days, take it or leave it. the veggie burger himself was delicious, but not for content or presentation. a burger in a bum with a part of chips is to offer a brown uninteresting eating. a simple salat garnish would have helped, but the disc of tomaten and cornichon was with the burger in the bungalow. there is a veggie moussaka that would have been more beautiful, but only on Sundays, so will not be for it again. I'm sorry I have to leave such an evaluation, but. on the plus side my friends praised all their cake flours and cleared their tellers, and mine when I lost interest i...
