The Kings Suite Restaurant at The Kingscliff Hotel

Been here for afternoon tea, limited but ok, probably better to go for a drink at the outdoor terrace.

COME HERE! They have IPAs and pastrami and buttery ass croissants. Cappuccino is dank too. That is all. Ciao!

I recently ate at this restaurant with a small group for the festive menu. The food was excellent, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. I would rate the food, service, and ambiance a perfect 5 out of 5.

The restaurant is understaffed and quite slow, but the staff are all very lovely. The service is rated a 3 out of 5, with a meal type of lunch and a price range of £30-£40 per person. The food is rated a 5 out of 5 and the atmosphere a 5 out of 5.

They said they didnt have a booking for me even though received confirmation email and a reminder email. Said they dont use opentable as a booking ref any more. Staff rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to eat. Ruined my dads 75th birthday.

The Menu presented was very limited and not the one shown on the website. On selecting a bottle of wine from the list presented to us then five minutes later told that it was not available and we had been given the wrong Wine List. Our first course of whitebait was vastly overcooked, the steak was passable. On the whole, very disappointing.

Kings Cliff is a nice spot to grab a quick drink on a Sunday. I recently visited the restaurant with my family and ordered three roast dinners. The food came out quickly, but I was disappointed to find that one of the roasts looked much smaller than the others and had no gravy. Later on, when three locals sat near us and ordered the same dish, their portions looked much larger and more appetizing. It seems like there is a consistency issue with the portion sizes at this restaurant. We all pay the same price, so the portions should be equal. Having arrived at 5.45pm for our Anniversary meal (we were asked if it was a special occasion on booked and I said it was) you had a Wedding Reception so it was busy. I went to bar and got two drinks and said I had booked a table to be informed the restaurant was closed because of the Wedding, I said I had booked and voiced my disapproval. She went to see someone and said yes ok but if you would like to have your drinks first as the waitress was busy with the wedding!
