"I do not normally bother writing reviews but after our visit last Sunday I thought it was needed. Food We visited for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed! Good portions, really tasty, fresh and crispy roast potatoes. Roast chicken £15 , beef £16 and lamb £17. We also had a side of cauliflower cheese I think that was £5 Was fresh and homemade. I feel it was really good value for our money and will return. Had a nice selection of homemade desserts and cakes. We had a brownie this too was delicious. Drinks Good selection of spirits, beers etc. Lovely defo and beautiful beer garden. We was honestly very pleasantly surprised and will return again soon."

"I couldn't help but think that Cinnamons could attract more customers, especially the construction workers living nearby at Wheatley Brookes University Campus, if they improved their food and service. Currently, the lack of positive word-of-mouth reviews from first-time customers is hurting their reputation. Without proper advertising, many locals may not even know about the restaurant, let alone be enticed to try it out. While I support local businesses, I believe that Cinnamons needs to put more effort into improving their offerings. The chicken pakora I received was unappetizing, resembling overcooked chicken dippers rather than traditional pakora. For the same amount of time and cost, I could have prepared a better alternative using frozen chicken dippers from the supermarket. I have attached photos as proof of my disappointment with the food. Overall, I'm unsure whether to feel sorry for Cinnamons or to hold them accountable for their lackluster standards. As a local establishment, they have the potential to attract more customers, but only if they prioritize quality and customer satisfaction."

"After 2 years of being in Oxford, I finally decided to give the King's Arms (Wheatley) a try. I went in and was given a very warm welcome! The barkeep was very friendly and made sure everything was ok, etc. An absolute A+ for service in my books.I ordered the sausage and mash and chicken wings, quite pricey in my opinion. Came to a grand total of 20 quid! Thank god I didn't get a pint with it!To be critical (and hence why it's only 4 stars), the chicken wings were hard and not tender at all. They were also misadvertised as garlic and chili wings to my surprise, when they came out, they were just plain chicken wings drizzled in sweet chili sauce. This slightly ticked me off since I was expecting the Chinese takeaway style of finely chopped garlic and raw chili, deep fried in batter.However, the sausage and mash was extremely nice! I'd highly recommend that. I'd definitely return here afrer a long study session to relax and chat to the locals (who are very friendly!)Overall a great pub with a lovely cozy vibe to it! Please visit it!"

"I have been to this lovely little country pub a couple of times in the past week. The first was for drinks and the service was excellent as was the ambience. Its a small pub but lovely on the inside and a perfect setting on a sunny day outside. There is a rear patio that is also good for outdoor dining. I've also been here last weekend for one of the best Sunday pub lunches that I have ever had! The chicken wing starts were amazing and came with a healthy amount of tasty sauce. I had the road lamb which, as the title of this review says, was as good as it gets. I can't think of a better sunday pub lunch good sized servings, beautifully cooked and served with excellent, friendly service. Well done to all at the Bull Inn you have created a perfect little pub :"

"We have visited this Caribbean restaurant several times for a reasonably priced meal. Menu a bit limited, with several chicken versions , ox tail and goat curry. With the chicken it can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes a lovely juicy piece of chicken,...sometimes mostly bone, as was the case for my partner on this occasion. I though chose Akhee and Saltfish as it is more reliable, which came with steamed vegetables, black rice, and mac n cheese. I enjoyed my meal but it's a pity the chicken dished are not more predictable."
