Meal for 4 at Lion Inn. We had a good meal. Our table was booked and was clean and ready for us. The service was good despite it being quite busy. The menu was interesting and the food was well presented and hot. Well go again. Service: 4 Location: 5

This is a fantastic restaurant and pub with a cozy log fire and rich history. The food and ale are delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Went for Sunday Lunch after a long walk with the dog. Absolutely fantastic service as soon as I walked through the door (more fuss for the dog than myself), and the roast beef was easily up there with the best I have ever tasted. We stopped by for lunch last Wednesday, November 15th and had a fantastic meal by the open fire. The deep-fried anchovies were amazing, I could have eaten them twice! The restaurant is conveniently located right on the high street, perfect for a leisurely walk or window shopping. The service and location both receive a 5-star rating. The highlights of the restaurant include its romantic atmosphere, quiet ambiance, and great value.

We absolutely love this restaurant and have visited multiple times over the years. The establishment has a unique charm, consistently delicious food, and friendly staff. Any complaints are minimal and likely unwarranted. For example, it would be better to have more seating near the fireplace during snowy weather, as it is the best spot in the restaurant. Also, some rooms are noisier than others, making it a bit harder to relax. However, overall, it is a fantastic experience and we can't wait to visit again. Ver carta
