Came here tonight for my boyfriends 50th, 11 of us. Melissa and Charlotte served us they were so helpful xx food was yummy and the drinks flowed. Thank you x

The food was delicious as usual, and the staff was incredibly helpful despite being very busy. One young girl in particular (I believe her name was Kaysie) went out of her way to assist us with everything we needed. Looking forward to returning soon!

Celebrated my daughters birthday with family lunch for 12 of us in the glass house it’s a fabulous venue we could really relax and enjoy our lunch. The food is lovely and great portions the service is great. Value for money is exceptional we will definitely be back.

My husband and I celebrated his 80th birthday with a surprise lunch at this restaurant. We had about 40 guests, including family and friends. The staff was amazing and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed a leisurely meal in a lovely setting, with grounds featuring climbing frames and swings for the kids. The weather was also perfect. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Had my daughters wedding here a few weeks ago on the hottest day of the year! Although it was too hot for a carvery, that’s what we had to eat and it far outweighed my expectations and all the food was delicious. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The marquee looked beautiful and it was a prefect day. Thank you to all involved for helping to make the day run perfectly. We’re coming back next weekend to try the carvery again as it was so good.

Can 't comment on the food. Didnt get that far. My family and I came in for a meal and stood by the wait here sign for 5 minutes. In that time we saw what looked like the manager on his laptop at a nearby table. Eventually my wife stopped a barmaid and said Excuse me, can we be seated please to which she replied Yeah you can grab a seat here (the immediate bar and not the restaurant) then went off. It was busy inside and we just felt forgotten. Went somewhere else.

My wife I have visited a few times now and every time, the food has been to a good standard. Our most recent visit was yesterday with my 91 year old mother. We had booked afternoon tea for three. When we arrived, we were shown to the conservatory area. Unfortunately the heating was not on. However, I spoke to the manage who immediately turned on the air conditioning the main radiators too the room was soon nice toasty, while the food was up to the usual high standard, during which the manager returned to check we were warm enough. We would highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic evening! First time at The Lodge for an evening like this and didn’t know what to expect. From booking online, to leaving the event was faultless. So well organised, food was really delicious, service from each member of the team that came up to us was absolutely excellent. The staff are so friendly and tentative, didn’t have to ask for anything. Adele was fantastic and a great atmosphere when she finished her set and did sang requests. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, so much so we booked there and then to see her in December there. Thank you team lodge for a superb evening.

We decided to take our children out for lunch because the weather was nice. We chose to dine at The Lodge because they have a very child-friendly outdoor area. It was busy when we arrived, but we didn't mind the wait for our food as the children were having a great time. We all enjoyed our meals - lasagne, Lodge burger, and three children's meals - the food was delicious. There was a young girl with mousey brown hair who was clearing tables and serving our food. She was very helpful and polite. We were happy with the service and food quality and will definitely be returning. Kudos to the entire staff for a job well done.
