The Longhouse - Menú

Great food good service. Was seated at table near fire which proved too hot for my niece and on requesting a different table it was no problem. Also requested a couple of cocktails not on standard cocktail menu, again no problem.

A delightful trip back to the Longhouse! I absolutely loved it. It’s a cozy, more relaxed version of my favorite restaurant. If Scotts can create a tiramisu as good as the one at the Longhouse, they'll never be able to get rid of me!

I had another fantastic meal at Buzzworks in The Long House, Kilmarnock. The service in the evening was impeccable, and, as always, the food was an absolute delight. Everything from the atmosphere to the service and dining experience was top-notch.

Food was great quality for breakfast and staff are very friendly. Would have been 5 stars but unfortunately the butter for the toast was brick hard so unable to spread it and the amount of beans you get is very poor. Hardly even a tablespoon of beans.

Just want to say Thank you to The Longhouse for a wonderful birthday dinner on Saturday night 25th. June. Upstairs. The room was beautiful. Food amazing and the two young waiters catered to all our needs. Friendly, professional , nothing was too much trouble. Much appreciated. Thank you X

A lovely dining environment, not too packed, varied lovely food and very reasonably priced. Professional and friendly staff who look like they're enjoying every minute of their work. Kilmarnock can be proud of this high end but reasonably priced establishment. A great dining experience. And they can cook a steak as the customer requests.

6 of us went for a family dinner on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived the restaurant was busy with a nice buzz. Our table was ready and our orders were taken and served very quickly. The dining room was quite warm so we asked if we could have aircon turned up. This was done quickly the place soon cooled down. Our waitress and I believe the shift manager were brilliant and the food was fab also. Great value and brilliant service all round. Our new favourite.

We recently had a celebration diner at The Long House Kilmarnock. We managed to get an early booking and was surprised that it was quite at this time though it got busier later on. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a rear table. The menu had plenty of choice and it had Halal food. The dishes that we ordered were varied but we all enjoyed what was served up to us. The only two faults that I would mention are that we were not asked if our meal was all right till we had finished it and also one of the large leaves of cabbage was well past its serving date. Would I go back ? Yes.

I arrived at The Long House and was greeted warmly right away. The staff showed us to our table and took our drink orders, presenting us with the menus. Once our drinks arrived, we placed our meal orders. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful when they arrived. We ordered three courses; two of them were very enjoyable, but unfortunately, the third was not great. However, the management noticed the issue immediately. They came over, took the unsatisfactory dish away, and offered us another option from the menu. The replacement dish was fantastic and completely made up for the earlier mishap. I must commend the exceptional service provided by The Long House staff throughout the evening....
