"after a considerable journey around the opposite attempts to find somewhere to eat on a very bleak januar on Sunday night, we came across the lower buck. we were greeted very warmly by the layer manager, a beautiful young lady, who showed us a cozy table for two by the fire. the pub felt inviting. we chose the Sunday roast, truthahn for me, bark meat for the nabenbein and ordered a pint each of timothy taylor bitter shandy. we didn't have to wait very long for our meal, which was stacked high on our plate with carrots, roast potatoes, kartoffels, paprika and filling, not to mention a very generous aid both of bark and truthahn, all of which were crushed in gravity. the bill including drinks, came to £38. excellent price-performance ratio for the warm welcome, eating and the atmosphere. the waiting young boys were very helpful and pleasant. we will definitely visit again when we are in the opposite."

Went with my wife to the steak night. Like everything else it has gone up in price from £35 to £40 for 2 steaks and a bottle of red wine, so still good value. They had Ribeye and Sirloin on offer. We both had Ribeye, not a huge steak; but absolutely delicious. They were accompanied with chunky chips, mushrooms, tomato, garlic butter sauce and the biggest onion rings I've every seen. The batter was nice and crispy and you could actually see and taste the onion inside.... Delicious. Highly recommended. Oh! The wine was good too.

here last week with woman, daughter and 88yr old mother in law. was going to check that they were wheelchair friendly and was told that they had ramped and put us in a easily accessible position. at the arrival we were warmly welcomed by the renter and no effort was spared to make our visit successful. eating was fantastically absolutely filled at the end of the meal. I can't praise this pub enough, their customer service was fantastic and the staff was beautiful. a real English country pub will definitely return for another fantastic meal.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
