Excellent beer. Trappers Hat was 5/5. Food looked good. Will return!

Tried to order food at 18.58 got told sorry stopped serving food.clearly states food 12-8pm

Had a lovely roast and dessert here yesterday, the food was so nice It was really busy but the staff were all lovely and really accommodating to us. We’ll definitely be back

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The views overlooking the river were beautiful. The beer selection was great, and we enjoyed sharing three small plates that were all delicious.

I have never been to this restaurant before, but I would happily return and recommend it to others. The staff were pleasant, and the outdoor seating area was fantastic for our large walking group. The drinks were also enjoyable, and it was a lovely short walk from the promenade. Ver carta

Normally give it a 5 but hugely disappointing last night , husband had mixed grill , chips were dry as a bone normality lovely the meat he said wasn’t great except the sausage , I’d eaten earlier so just wanted the olive chorizo salad it was a bowl of lots and lots of olives witch had 3 very dry bits of chorizo in and some rocket , really loved comeing here but after lastnight it’s a NO , shame

I went to this restaurant for lunch. The beer garden was a nice size, and a great thing was that no one was smoking, even though there were ashtrays present. We ordered food and, like everyone else, had to wait 45 to 50 minutes. The food was delicious. When we tried to order dessert, we found out that the kitchen was already closed. I would go back but next time I would go before lunch service begins.

Food was excellent, I had Mags burger with pulled pork and jalapeño peppers (bit too hot for me) but the taste was fabulous. My husband had the sausage and mash which he enjoyed. The staff were really pleasant but we waited over half an hour for our meal and we were one of the first to order!!! Very popular pub and dog friendly, the sun was shining so lots of people in the beer garden, real ale too Camra Wirral pub of the year 2024. Ver carta
